Description:

We are a purpose-driven professional services firm dedicated to providing support for a range of diverse federal program missions. Our focus extends across the intersections of national security, public health and safety, and financial services programs. We are hiring an accomplished developer with expertise in Microsoft SharePoint 2013/2019/Online, Power Platform, and Office 365. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working within the Department of Defense (DoD).

In this role, you will be tasked with offering technical guidance and support in the realms of migrating legacy SharePoint sites and applications, business process automation and enhancing collaboration. The successful candidate will assume a pivotal role in the entire lifecycle, contributing to the requirements analysis, design, development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of solutions. The primary objective is to optimize solutions that not only enhance operational capabilities but also modernize systems, ultimately improving efficiency within an enterprise environment.

Requirements:
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance for planning and designing in addition to developing and implementing identified solutions including, but not limited to new portal/intranet, redesign of SharePoint 2013/2019 site/sub-sites to SharePoint Online,
  • Perform requirement analysis on requirements provided by the customer manager.
  • Conduct brainstorming and requirements capture session for new features and functionality.
  • Provide planning, design, development/coding, testing, and deployment support for existing and new SharePoint solutions.
  • Leverage technical knowledge to provide recommendations to make tools more efficient or effective.
  • Implement custom code to achieve desired functionality or other applicable solutions.
  • Establish a standard user experience and implement site(s) navigation strategy, and work to make any background tools function efficiently, (e.g., workflows, InfoPath forms, or any work performed in SharePoint designer).
  • Modernize business application using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Power Virtual Agents).
  • Perform independent quality assurance testing of developed solutions.
  • Support Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) design work for all projects.
  • Provide a rollback capability as a standard activity.
  • Provide content management support as needed.
  • Document solutions in an operations support document that will be maintained throughout the life of the product.
  • Provide problem/issue resolution management to include identifying, researching, diagnosing, and resolving problems encountered.
  • Provide solution/tool maintenance as required - deploying fixes, updates, and upgrades to developed solutions as required by the customer manager.
  • Work with the customer manager to plan, manage, and deploy solutions into the production environment successfully while minimizing interruptions to customers and current IT services.
  • Collaborate with customer Manager to provide the best possible service delivery to SharePoint tool stakeholders.
  • Technology research for SharePoint solution deployment.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 4 years design and development experience in Microsoft SharePoint 2013/2019/Online and Power Platform.
  • Experience in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint designer, InfoPath, REST API, CSS, and HTML.
  • Experience in the design and development using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Power Virtual Agents).
  • Excellent communications (both written and spoken) including customer support.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills are also required.
  • Active public trust and experience working within DoD is critical (must have).
